I unofficially started UE nine years ago when I discovered something similar about every person of influence I interacted with. They all wanted the chance to be courageous.

Whether it was high level dignitaries, pastors, or young entrepreneurs, they all wanted a new and impactful experience. Something that no conference or start-up could give them. So I started taking leaders from all over the world into the wildest part of Africa. Where lions don’t have boundaries and fears have to be faced. 

I grew up in a family who’s dinner table discussions always revolved around reforming nations. In our case it was about Sub Saharan Africa. My parents moved to Zimbabwe in 1980 right in the middle of the war for independence.

In the past several years, Zimbabwe has experienced 76 Billion percent hyper-inflation, three economic collapses and an ever-throbbing 90% unemployment statistic.

When it comes to pioneering new lands and new levels of leadership, a conference isn’t enough. It’s saying yes to the raw, untamed experiences in life. The ones that break us out of the mundane and launch us into places beyond our wildest dreams.
